Superintendence / Control of Weight at AZORES ISLANDS

ALBANO DE OLIVEIRA SUCESSOR LDA as the Lloyd's of London local Agency in Azores, between many other types of Survey also performs the important cargo discharging Superintendence/ Control of Weight Surveys in all Azores Islands, with more incidence at the ports of Ponta Delgada (St. Michael's Island), Praia da Vitória (Terceira Island) and Velas (St. George's Island) by our competent, skilled & certified in-house Surveyors, with large experience gained all over the years.

Superintendence, Control of Weight Survey, includes round the clock control of discharge operations, noting all the delays, rejecting cargo which is not in conformity with Principals instructions or contractual specification or according to mutually agreed Standards of specification and quality, followed by daily and final reports with photographs.

At the same time, we're also attending the weighing of the cargo being discharged (I.e. Grains, Sugar, fertilizers and others) by controlling the Gross & Tare of each carrying truck over duly certified/calibrated scales in order to determine accurately the final weight.

Contractual sampling of cargoes can also be performed by this agency, if required.

We're also approved Superintendents and Surveyors members of the Grain and Feed Trade Association, London;
